The Company:
Based in Leeds our client has a prestigious reputation. Due to expansion they are seeking a qualified accountant to head up their finance function. This is a truly a fantastic opportunity to be part of something very very exciting!
The Role:
- Lead the finance function
- Prepare Accounts
- Work closely with the MD and other business departments
- Lead and develop a finance team
- Support the finance function and wider business with strategic decisions
- Implement new systems / procedures / ideas
- Analysis of the business, reducing inefficiency and increasing profits
Your commercial acumen must be very strong, you must have exceptional organisational skills, and you must be able to demonstrate a technical competency in financial accounting, whilst being able to produce accurate management accounts.
The Person:
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Ability to influence at all levels
- Hands on & Sleeves rolled up approach
