Management Accountant

A leading Retail business based in Central Manchester with a Global presence are looking for a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and ownership of the ecommerce management accounts for lines responsible for; Sales line, with reconciliation to MI, Preparation of return sales provision, Stock - responsibility for accounting for stock and associated accounts and cost of sales, Responsibility for Fulfilment, Distribution and Marketing costs, including forecasting, monthly accounting
• Review of spend in month with the relevant departments
• Ensuring the ERP system is working as designed, suggesting improvements where possible
• Working closely with other areas of the business such as business operations and warehouse to suggest operational improvements

You will have:

• Strong experience working in a Management Accountant role
• Excellent knowledge of processes and month end exposure
• Advanced excel skills with the capability to manipulate large volumes of data
• Experience of working in a fast paced, changeable finance environment
• FMCG/Retail experience is ESSENTIAL
• SAP is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail
