Financial Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively managing the recruitment process for a qualified Financial Accountant on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day finance function and will supervise the accounts team.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

Group reporting with monthly & quarterly uploads for reports, re-forecasts and budgets
Managing Year-End processes
Team supervision
Preparation of the UK statutory accounts
Internal & External Audit work
Journal entry management
Prepayment & accrual management
Balance sheet account reconciliations
Maintenance of the fixed asset register
Hedging / Credit cards / expenses / vehicles administration
VAT returns
HMRC / UK / EC returns

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

*ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
*Sound Financial Accounting skills producing accurate financial information ideally within a fast paced manufacturing environment
*Strong reporting skills
*Advanced user of Excel and ERP systems
