Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a leading and award winning business services client seeking a hands-on and experienced part-time Management Accountant (around 25 hours per week). A varied permanent finance role reporting directly into the Senior Management Team and overseeing the financial processes for the organisation. A opportunity to really add value and support business through further growth based in the outskirts Dursley, Gloucestershire.

Your new role

Your key duties will involve processing monthly management accounts, overhead analysis, customer analysis, monthly/yearly accounts reports, cash-flow, budget forecasts, along with bank reconciliations and VAT returns. You will manage and support an existing accounts clerk overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, monthly/year-end payroll and general finance administration. You will be expected to support senior management in ad-hoc financial projects when needed and implement/improve processes and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

For this exciting and varied Part-Time Management Accountant role you must have experience within a similar role with a strong understanding of accounting processes within small or medium sized business, MS Excel skills and . High level of accuracy, attention to detail with strong communication skills to build relationships with senior management, internal teams and external customers. Ideally you will be AAT Qualified, Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, candidates who are qualified by experienced will be considered. It would be advantageous if you have sage systems experience but not essential.

What you'll get in return

This hands-on Part-Time Management Accountant role is offering a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum pro rota, over 25 hours per week based within the outskirts of Dursley, Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.
