Our client, is a house hold brand name with an excellent reputation for customer satisfaction and innovation, is looking to source a top calibre Senior Finance Business Partner to join its talented team. The role will be responsible for partnering with various non-finance stakeholders and providing best in class analysis to support decision making.
Main duties include:
* Challenge and pursue revenue and cost improvement actions
* Acting as the primary contact for stakeholders for insight and understanding to improve compliance
* Working with project teams to ensure a consistent approach to business case preparation
* Conducting post implementation and financial benefit reviews for all projects
* Providing forward looking financial information to key stakeholders and the CFO, leading regular business review meetings to deliver insight and identify risks and opportunities
* Leading forecasting and budget cycles for the business area
* Working with management to formulate strategic and long term business plans, leading the completion of a 20 year plan for the business area
* Managing and mentoring one team member
Skills & Experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Strong analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
* Experience in investment appraisal
* Strong accounting background and appreciation for controls
* Excellent commercial nous and business acumen
* Proactive and positive attitude towards work
* Ability to influence and challenge the status quo
* Likeable, engaging personality
