Project Accountant

Project Accountant, Hemel Hempstead, £30,000-£35,000 Per annum, Permanent

This extremely successful global entity are currently seeking a talented and passionate Project Accountant to join their continually expanding finance department. Reporting to the Project Accounting Supervisor this role will encompass a wide variety of projects including monthly reporting, forecasting and cash flow management. This opportunity will allow the chosen candidate to shape and mould the role as they deem necessary. Holding full responsibility for each of the projects in your portfolio you will develop a deep understanding of the company.

Key duties:
*Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual forecast by project
*Cash flow management
*Monthly reconciliations
*Preparation of project sales invoices
*Liaising with Stakeholders
*Authorisation of invoices
*Calculating project profits
*Contribution to quarterly performance reviews
*Ensure that all projects are properly set up on Oracle

The ideal candidate for this role would be an enthusiastic accountant with a passion to drive change. Applicants must have financial experience, strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills. Factors that would be considered highly desirable would include Project Accounting experience and proficiency in using Oracle.
