Management Accountant

Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting a Management Accountant. Our client is a world-renowned University based in Central London who have the opportunity for a Management Accountant to come and support them through some very exciting periods of positive change and growth.

Working closely with their hands-on and supportive Head of Finance you will be tasked with looking after some key projects in the progression of the organisation, leading on the budgeting for multi-million pound projects and being the key point of liaison for various Heads of Department. Tasked with managing and evolving the management reporting, specific Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

* Advise, challenge and coach budget holders and divisional directors on financial performance across 6 different key business areas.
* Prepare reports and commentaries on the impact of projects on the long-term plans for the organisation.
* Review income and costing pressures and deputise for the Head of Finance when needed.
* Review and deliver monthly management accounting packs, working closely with budget holders, proving insightful financial analysis and assisting in annual budget setting.

The successful candidate will be a part qualified candidate who is actively studying towards an accountancy qualification and a background of working in Higher Education would be desirable but not essential. You will have fantastic communication skills and the ability to clearly and concisely relay financial information to people without a finance background
