Our client who are a leading business in the construction sector are looking for a Management Accountant to join their dynamic and fast growing finance function over in the West Midlands. They are offering a competitive package along with great benefits and lots of progression opportunities.
Areas of specific responsibility:
- Supporting the delivery of month end accounts
- Attending and supporting the delivery of monthly performance meetings with business stakeholders
- Ad hoc analysis to understand underlying drivers/KPI's behind monthly cost performance
- Supporting with the Business Partnering team in improving processes that add value to stakeholders in the business and within finance.
- Supporting the Business Partnering team in financially modelling and appraising new initiatives
Essential criteria:
- You will be studying towards or be a Newly Qualified Accountant so can demonstrate technical accounting skills
- You can demonstrate strong analytical and Excel skills (intermediate or higher) with eye for commercial
- Proven experience of working with Management accounts
