Financial Accountant

Market leading FMCG business based in Surrey have a brand new requirement for an ambitious Newly Qualified Accountant looking for their first step out of practice. You will be recruited to provide support and assistance to the Financial Controller in the day to day month end activities and group financial reporting for the company. Your skill set must incorporate strong technical financial accounting ability, in depth analytical skills and confidence when submitting complex financial results to Senor Management. Duties include:

• Budget and forecast assistance
• Supporting the external audit process
• UK statutory reporting and completion of tax returns
• Balance sheet reporting
• Liaising with business units inside and outside of the UK
• Consistently drive business performance
• Adhoc duties as required by Financial Controller

You must be:

• Be a Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Have a drive to succeed and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Knowledgeable of current IFRS regulations and reporting controls
• Analytically focused with a strong eye for detail
• A active team player by competent working independently and to tight deadlines  
• An advanced Excel user
