Head of Finance

A leading London based charity is seeking the skillset of a Head of Finance to be responsible for all aspects of financial management. Understanding of SORP reporting requirements in crucial as well as previous experience running the financial affairs of a charity or business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing the annual budget
• Preparing statutory accounts and managing the annual audit process
• Develop internal financial management systems and processes ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place across the organisation
• An element of business partnering within different department heads to ensure outstanding financial accounting occurs throughout different business units.

Candidate Requirements:

• A recognised Accountancy Qualification
• Post qualification experience working for a charity
• Excellent communication skills - Written and Verbal
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and work as part of a team
• Able to make thorough decisions when needed, and take accountability for outcomes
