Financial Controller

Responsibilities will include:

• Accruals, prepaid, fixed assets
• Monitoring Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and support where needed
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Analysis
• Manage and achieve financial reporting deliverables
• Support month-end accounting and compilation of reporting packs including variance analysis
• Assist with the preparation of Financial Statements & Audits (Group, Statutory, Internal, and Tax)
• Liaise with tax/compliance return (monthly/quarterly/annual) advisors as appropriate;
• Deliver and improve efficient and effective accounting, month-end close activities and processes

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Recognized higher level accounting qualification and at least 5 years' experience in a Finance position in a medium size organization, preferably international
• Familiarity with a Financial Shared Service Centre concept and model is preferred.
• Must have the ability to adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced global changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
