Payroll Assistant

Exclusive permanent Payroll Assistant available for an accountancy practice south of Cambridgeshire. This role is offering between £23,000 - £26,000 per annum. Ideally qualified by experience candidate required to join a team of three.

In your new role your key responsibilites include;

 Run a portfolio of client payrolls
 Setting up and registering new payroll with HMRC
 Liaising directly with clients as required
 Applying for PSA's
 Producing payslips
 Produce accounting reports and HMRC payment schedules
 Processing statutory calculations
 Ability to work within a busy payroll team
 Reconcile and prepare monthly payments for pensions, unions and any other payroll related deductions
 Processing BACS/Bank payments in connection with salaries, HMRC liabilities, drawings, staff expenses and supplier payments
 Dealing with payroll year end reports and submissions, along with monthly RTI requirements
 Working with clients to ensure they are auto-enrolment compliant

You will be joining a small finance team, undergoing a brilliant transition of change. You will be a vital member of the team assisting with ongoing payroll projects across the division.
