Group Financial Controller

A fast growing technology business, based in the heart of London, has an exciting opportunity for a first-class finance professional to join them as Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller has a wide range of responsibility including international consolidation, reporting and corporate governance.

Key responsibilities:

• Ownership of month end close, with the appropriate accompanying reporting and analysis
• Accountability for reconciliation and governance, including multicurrency consolidations
• Leading a high performing team
• Full responsibility for managing and producing statutory accounts
• Overseeing and supporting other areas of finance including treasury, external auditor liaison, board pack production and systems evaluation and change
• Working closely with the CFO on core reporting strategy, ensuring stability and consistency for the business

Candidate profile

• Graduate with a 1:1 or 1:2 from a top-tier university
• Chartered accountant
• Currently working as a group / divisional / regional financial controller
• Broad financial controller experience – internal / external reporting, audit liaison, team leadership, improving processes & procedures, enhancing corporate governance and upgrading systems
• Experience working in an international environment, in particular of multi-currency consolidations

Salary: Circa £100,000-110,000 base plus package
