Axon Moore is currently recruiting for a high growth multi-site retailer based in Burnley who are looking for a Part Qualified Commercial Accountant to join their expanding team. Reporting directly to senior management this is an excellent opportunity for an CIMA or ACCA studier who is looking to broaden their experience with fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Key responsibilities will include;
• P&L and balance sheet responsibility for Sales, Margin and Warehouse Costs
• Identifying and implementing reporting changes
• Reporting on monthly sales and providing commentary
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Providing support to Commercial and Logistic functions ensuring decision making processes are underpinned by robust financial modelling and analysis
• Building relationships across the business with the view to improve communication and efficiencies
To apply for this role candidates must have experience within an Accountancy or Analytical background alongside a strong academic record. Intermediate Excel skills are also a must and system implementation/improvement experience would be advantageous.
