Senior Accountant
Burnley
Up to £37,000 plus excellent benefits

We are currently working with our client based in the centre of Burnley to recruit to this strategic position.
You will report to the Finance Manager, supervises two Assistant Accountants, and be responsible for the Management Accounts process for designated Cost Centres.
You will be accountable for the following:
- Annual budget preparation and submission
- Monthly Management Accounts Package including liaison with budget holders, variance reporting and forecasting
- Management and reporting on the sizeable Fixed Assets Register
- Assistance with quarterly reports to Board and Fund Holders
- Preparation of yearend accounting and presentation including Auditor liaison
- Control account reconciliations and relevant financial controls
- Working to maintain and improve procedures and processes for the organisation
- Supervision of two staff members
