Finance Business Partner

Axon Moore have been engaged by a market leading FMCG organisation based in Wakefield to recruit an operationally focused finance business partner. A highly visible & business facing role.

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will act as business partner across the operations & logistic divisions. You will be expected to offer financial support, direction & add value to the operations team. This will be through detailed analysis & strong financial controls.

Key duties will include:

• Provision of financial insight into each of the operational areas of the business, recommending problem solving & profit enhancement initiatives and assessing investment opportunities
• Business partnering with the Head of Supply Chain and Senior Operational Management – driving improved management of inventory across the organisation
• Leading review and development meetings to support improved behaviours across Operations, Quality and Customer Services
• Management and ongoing development of a Financial Analyst
• Budgeting and forecasting / re-forecasting for operational areas
• Reporting for the board pack and board meetings with responsibility for the operational aspects of the board pack

In order to be considered for the role you must be:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• FMCG industry experience
• Strong analytical skillset
• Business Partnering experience
