Our client is a technology commercialisation company focusing exclusively on the cyber security sector. This role is focused on supporting the continued growth of the business. Reporting to the CEO key responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of the finance function and financial strategy of the business
- Managing and developing the finance team
- Improving the quality of financial controls, processes and systems
- Managing cashflow forecasting and working capital
- Ownership of financial modelling, budgeting and KPIs
- Supporting the Board and management team in strategic decision making
- Being an integral member of the leadership team and contributing to strategic and operational issues
- Liaising with investors
- Owning the relationship with the banks, auditors, corporate advisers, legal and company secretarial services
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong academic background
- Experience of working in a listed business
- Have held a hands-on senior finance role in an SME would be beneficial
- Experience of working for a high growth business
- Experience of working for a business in the software or technology sector would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience of external fundraising and market transactions would be an advantage
