Payroll Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
My client a nationally recognised institution are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and overseeing a team of 8, including 2 team leaders
- Oversee all year end payroll processes and reporting
- Own and regularly update key process documentation in relation to Payroll
- Deliver efficient and effective workload management to ensure that established service levels and departmental KPIs are achieved
- Effectively and proactively manage all internal customer requirements and expectations, anticipating queries and issues and escalate where appropriate
You will need to be organised and have good attention to detail, with excellent communication and leadership skills. Previous experience processing high volumes of payroll and managing numerous staff is essential.
