FINANCIAL ANALYST

My clients in North Wales are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join their growing team.

Are you looking to make a first time move from Practice where you have deal with international clients?

Key Responsibilities:

The main duties with this position will include:

• Supporting the annual budget process - partner with local business, functional, and departmental leaders.
• Sustaining the monthly forecast cycle - leverage the local ERP to investigate variances between prior forecasts and the actual results. Publish related KPI's and detail variances by updating the forecast.
• Coordinating input to forecasts and budgets from local business leaders.
• Driving improvements to various local and corporate financial reporting systems (Microsoft AX, Business Objects, Hyperion, Custom SharePoint applications).
• Supporting other finance ad hoc analyses, deep dive reviews, and projects such as - headcount reviews, R&D spending reviews, capital expenditure planning and investment, government overhead rate calculations, working capital analysis, product margin analysis.
• As required, supporting the business as it undertakes market analysis, understands trends, and defines new market activities and business directions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience with UK/US GAAP and reporting in multiple currencies is essential for this position
• ACA Preferably but would considered ACCA/CIMA with relevant experience
• Manufacturing experience is essential
• Advanced Excel
• Graduates from finance / accounting, analytical sciences or business related degrees
