Senior Management Accountant | £42,000 | Cheadle | Commercial Finance Opportunity | Multi-site
Axon Moore has been engaged to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing business that has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
Our client services multiple industries from the aerospace to the telecommunications industry and operate on a worldwide scale holding sites across Europe, America and Asia and employing thousands of people worldwide.
The role offers the successful candidate a broad commercial finance opportunity. You will act as the hub of commercial finance throughout the organisation, liaising with both senior management and site directors to help deliver strategy improvements. You will achieve this through a combination of both business partnering and exercising your commercial awareness, highlighting areas of focus to senior management.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the budget and forecasting process across the business, assisting site directors when necessary
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Provision of MI and analysis to senior management
- Act as a business partner and liaison between senior management and the site directors highlighting areas of focus across the business
- Provide commercial analysis on both regional and site sales performance
- Review of existing finance processes and implement process improvements
- Hold 2+ years in a commercial finance role
- Be ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Be a confident communicator with an outgoing demeanour
- Similar sector experience (manufacturing/engineering) desirable but not essential
- Costing experience desirable but not essential
