Financial Reporting Accountant

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant for a fast growing service business in Nottingham. This business has witnessed impressive growth over the last 5 years which is set to continue both organically and through acquisitions.

As the Financial Reporting Accountant you will provide financial reporting and related assistance to the Financial Controller, and wider Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work hand-in-hand with Financial Accountant and Senior Management Accountant, and their teams
• Month end reporting, management accounts and board report
• Statutory financial and tax reporting, including audit
• Cash reporting
• Oversee budget production
• Coordinate forecasting/monthly re-forecasting of P&Ls, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
• Finance team dashboard
• Develop and improve team processes
• Completion of month end reporting pack, to include co-ordination of completion by subsidiary businesses where applicable
• Completion of month end management accounts and submission to external parties and Group
• Complete monthly consolidated P&L, for inclusion in the Board report, review and oversee Board report commentary production
• Assist and review the monthly Trading review packs prepared by the Management Accounts team
• Cashflow forecast weekly variance reporting and commentary
• Oversee, collate and review monthly reforecasts of P&Ls, Balance Sheets and Cashflows from the Finance team
• Assistance with corporation tax computation preparation
• Assistance with the interim and year end statutory accounts
• Oversee the external audit process for the Division
• Assistance with monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, including taxes
• Weekly credit control reporting
• Co-administrator/authorisation for company banking
• Dashboard reporting

You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA qualified) with excellent statutory accounting and tax technical knowledge. You will be able to use an appropriate level of initiative, with the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, in a fast-paced environment. You will be driven, with a focused attitude to work.
