Interim Senior Financial Accounting Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone join a fast growing hospitality business for a 12 month Maternity Cover. The main focus of the role is lead a team of 5 and provide oversight to processes which underpin strong financial control in the UK and Ireland businesses. The ideal candidate will come from an audit background and will have at least 4 years' experience in industry.

The main responsibilities include:

• Managing production of the year end accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Oversight to month end consolidation of company results (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for external stakeholders - particularly investors and lenders
• Lead role in monthly review/management of the company's balance sheets - embedding a culture of strong financial control
• Accurate and timely UK and Irish VAT returns, on-going monitoring that correct processes are in place. Working with advisors to manage other tax obligations
• Oversight over all ongoing tax projects
• Ensuring all other compliance related affairs are dealt with in a timely and efficient way
• Management of the cash accounting team, with responsibility for procedure review and improvement over the daily cash reconciliation process.
• Oversight to AP manager control of payment/receivable processes and cash management
• Cash flow planning, forecasting and active management throughout the business
• Forecasting of performance against agreed banking covenants

Property and Capex (team oversight):

• Team provides financial support to the Head of Property and the Property team, monitoring and control of spend on new stores, refurbishments
• Revenue cost line responsibility across the UK business's outlets for rent, rates and sublet income P&L lines
