This instantly recognisable client based in Watford are seeking a experienced and confident Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage a team of accounts payable associates.

This client is experiencing outstanding growth & over the next couple of years this team is likely to grow.

• Supervise, train and develop associates to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all invoices for the business.
• Develop and use appropriate reports, KPIs and tools to effectively manage the team, providing feedback to the team and status to management within deadlines.
• Monitor work flows to ensure that productivity within the Invoice Processing team is maintained.
• Identify invoices with potential issues and escalate for investigation/resolution.
• Investigate and resolve invoices on hold to deliver payment as per agreed terms.
• Assist Accounts Payable Manager with half yearly and yearly Appraisals
• Ensure any ad hoc reporting is completed within agreed timelines.
• Ensure that processes are updated and reviewed in line with best practice.
• Provide cover to the payment co-ordinator during holiday / sickness
• Assist with preparation of information / data for external auditors in the annual audit of the financial accounts.

You must have experience managing/ supervising an accounts payable team & confident in setting objectives.
