Well known family run retail business with its head office in Manchester City Centre requires a Payroll Clerk for their growing team. This is a motivated and developing team with a lot to offer.

Reporting to the HR Manager duties will include:

  • Responsible for full coverage of the payroll, including, starters, leavers, P45’s, SSP, SMP and payroll deductions
  • Dealing with any queries from various sites regarding the use of the payroll system. Queries will range from issues with adding new starters, to holiday queries, leavers and anything general in connection to the payroll on each site.
  • Ensuring sites close off rotas strictly each week, chasing where necessary.
  • Submitting final payroll figures, working with a large payroll, covering many sites.
  • Inputting wage advances at the month end.
  • Maintaining accurate reports, recording and documenting queries.
  • HR administration skills including letter writing, reference writing, onboarding support, eligibility documentation, and any other HR support required.

The right candidate for this role will have at least 12 months experience of payroll and will be looking for a role in a growing business.
