Superb opportunity to join a highly successful manufacturing company based in Rugby as Financial Controller.

Your new company
We have an opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a superb manufacturing and installation business.

Our client is a privately owned business who manufacture and install high quality products. The company has experienced an unprecedented period of growth over the last 5 years and now have a turnover of over £35m with growth plans to exceed £40m next year. From their purpose-built 7 acre site in Rugby, they manufacture one product every minute of every working day.


As a result of this growth we have created a new opportunity for a Financial Controller. You will report directly to the Managing Director and the external Accountants. You will be responsible for the full financial control of the company. This role is a hands on operational position, supervising a team of 3 people. You will work closely with the Management Team to support the continued growth of the company.




Your new role
Key duties will include:


* Oversee all company accounts and investments
* Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
* Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
* Manage and analyse Working Capital requirements
* Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants
* Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback
* Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems
* Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
* Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation including CIS controls
* Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
* Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
* Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
* Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
* Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
* Report to the MD with timely and accurate financial information
* Assist the MD in presenting reports to board members.
* Integrated within the business and an active part of each department




What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a fully Qualified Accountant ideally from a manufacturing or engineering background. You will work closely with the Managing Director so excellent communication skills are essential. Consideration will be given to very strong Qualified by Experienced applicants.

What you'll get in return

A basic salary of up to circa £60,000 is on offer for the successful candidate. This is an exciting role supporting the Managing Director and providing the right candidate with a route to become Finance Director.
