Interim Management Accountant

Calling all ambitious Management Accountants, Macildowie have just secured an ideal opportunity with one of our close clients to recruit for a Management Accountant role in the Nottinghamshire area. The role will be covering Maternity Cover on a fixed term contract basis. This role will be within a faced paced environment and require someone who is quick on the uptake.

The job role will pay between £30,000 - £36,000 Pro-Rata for 9 months Maternity Cover.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of financial statements including P&L accounts
• Extensive budgeting to ensure spending is kept below targets
• Assessing and implementing strategic decisions regarding financial business strategy
• Highlight and investigate any variances within the finance function
• Troubleshooting any Finance discrepancy
• Analysing income and expenditure
• Input journals and Aged debt analysis
• Ad-hoc tasks and analysis

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• At least two years experience in a similar role
• Preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified however others will be considered
