Head of Finance

An education establishment based in Sheffield is looking to appoint a Head of Finance.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver a high quality financial services across the establishment.

As Head of Finance you will be:

• Reviewing and developing systems
• Staff management - developing a small team
• Financial accounts and statutory returns
• Business Planning
• Budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning 
• Strategy reporting
• Dealing with financial transactions
• Business partnering
• Improving efficiencies throughout department through use of MI

The ideal candidate for the Head of Finance role will have:

• A relevant accounting qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience in the preparation of budgets, commercial reviews and analysis
• Advanced IT skills with extensive ERP experience
• Strong technical ability and be commercially aware
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Ambition, drive and be comfortable to challenge at all levels
• A resilient, professional and flexible approach
• A flexible approach to your work
• A hardworking attitude and enjoy managing change
