Howett Thorpe are partnering with a Manufacturing and Distribution business based on the outskirts of Guildford for an outstanding opportunity as Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. You will report directly into the CFO and play key role into the business strategy and growth.
FP & A Manager - About The Role
As the FP & A Manager you will lead the financial planning and analysis function and support the Senior Leadership Team with the Financial and commercial assessment of key initiatives within the business. You will be enhancing the current financial reporting that is available to the business, ensuring it is robust and accurate.
Other duties include:
- Responsible for the yearly budgeting process including complex financial modelling and working with senor stakeholders across the business.
- Providing commercial insight into key trading decisions across all stores
- Directly supporting the CFO and CEO with preparation of high level input for board meetings, major projects and assessments
The successful FP & A Manager will have:
- Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA together with a strong academic profile
- Excellent financial modelling skills is essential
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting, Month End, Balance Sheet and P&L's
- Previous experience of working in a Retail or FMCG Company would be an advantage but not essential
