Our client, a vibrant and innovative organisation based in Mid Kent, is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their team. In this role your key responsibilities will include:
- Reconcile VAT and statistical returns
- Prepare the monthly group tax management reporting reconciliations for VAT GLs for Group Finance colleagues
- Prepare reconciliations of P&L sales revenue to VAT reported revenue
- Maintaining and clearing VAT general ledgers
- Produce accurate periodic UK VAT Group and EMEA VAT registration returns and declarations
- Create and post VAT journals to the balance sheet
