Financial Reporting & Planning Manager

Are you a qualified accountant with investment management experience and looking for a new exciting new opportunity? This well respected, listed, fund manager is looking for a bright and energetic individual to join their existing team, based in the City of London.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparation of financial analysis, written reports and presentations for internal stakeholders;
- Analysis of business unit performance and running the annual strategy and budgeting processes;
- Timely delivery of ad hoc analysis to meet senior management requests
- Providing technical accounting oversight, preparing annual statutory accounts and regular Board reports as required
- Liaison with external auditors and presenting the monthly and quarterly corporate entity results
- Managing the relationship with outsourced service providers and overseas accountants, where necessary

The ideal applicant will have:

- An accountancy qualification and strong academic background with experience in Investment Management
- Strong financial reporting as well as financial planning and analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
