A truly innovative global organisation at the forefront of its market has an excellent opportunity for a Systems Accountant with experience and knowledge of SAP FI CO to join their team.
With responsibility for the support and development of finance systems across the group you will have particular emphasis on developing the consolidation and reporting processes across a recently implemented system
Key Responsibilities
*Support the post go live warranty period and transition of the performance management software to business
Lead training to ensure users have sufficient knowledge to get the best out of the system.
*Develop and maintain a level of reporting capability in the larger divisions and assist smaller ones with report writing. .
*Maintain user guides and system configuration documentation.
Providing support and troubleshooting for month end, year end, group reporting and planning cycles.
Maintain the forward change plan, ensure timely delivery of agreed enhancements to increase adoption of the performance management software
*Develop the system to use for budgeting and forecasting
Widen the use of the tool outside the current focus on financial and management accounting (e. develop capability for treasury management).
*Controlling monthly and annual close cycles, ensure SAP connections work, add new users, maintain security profiles.
Maintain the integrity of the system by performing regular control checks.
Provide integration support to new acquisitions/divestments.
Key skills / experience
*Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
*Proven expertise in supporting and administering a multi-currency consolidation system, to include report writing.
*Experience and knowledge of SAP FI CO
*Firm understanding of management accounting and statutory reporting principles.
*Good communication skills.
*Ability to work unsupervised
