Elevation Senior Finance are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst position on behalf of a major organisation based in Leeds centre.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the production and reporting of management and statutory accounts for aligned business area.
Key responsibilities will include:
-Assist in the production of accurate and timely management and statutory accounts for aligned business areas
-Development and provision of relevant reporting to Business Partnering and FP&A
-Reconciliation and control of balance sheets
-Production of rolling monthly cost and headcount forecasts
-Ensure controls and processes in place are adhered to and highlight where improvements can be made
-Other duties relevant to specific business area (eg fixed assets, intercompany allocations and recharges, staff capitalisation, MSA calculation, revenue share model)
-Assist with the integration of new acquisitions into the Financial Control processes and reporting
-Liaison with Business Partnering, FP&A and other key stakeholders
-Involvement in wider finance initiatives to constantly evolve and improve the Group Finance function
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
-Assist in the production of accurate and timely management and statutory accounts for aligned business areas
-Minimum of 1 years' experience after graduating working within an accounting environment
-Studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
-IT literate including strong Microsoft Excel skills
-Highly analytical
-Very strong communication skills
-Ability to work to tight deadlines
