Commercial Analyst

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Commercial Analyst. My client is a major FMCG organisation in Leeds that due to significant growth has an excellent opportunity within their Accounts team.

This role would provide the successful applicant with a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of deciding the company's direction by providing key commercial and decision support to the Finance Director and senior management team. You will be responsible for business partnering with a number of key managers across the business, providing reports and analysis on sales, efficiency, quality and ad hoc projects that the company is looking at. This will be a varied and fast paced job role which will require you to manage a busy workload and prioritise to ensure deadlines are met.

My client feels this position would best suit a recent qualified accountant who has a strong grounding in management and commercial accounting. Ideally you will have had exposure to applying these skills within a Retail or FMCG environment although open to considering candidates who can demonstrate the appropriate experience if it is gained within a different industry.

Elevation Senior Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

* Review of weekly accounts, budgeting and forecasting
* Restructuring, pricing and modelling experience
* Analysis and modelling
* Monthly management reporting
* Working with budget holders across the business
* Experience of Restructuring and working to tight deadlines
* Analysis of budgets and forecasts
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or Finalist
