Assistant Finance Manager
Central London
£30,000-£35,000 DOE
Description
Due to continued growth and expansion plans, we have a newly created Finance Manager position in 90 North’s real estate investment advisory business. The Finance Manager will support the asset management team in the management of a growing portfolio of single and multi-tenanted properties in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, United States and Australia; in addition to assist with the financial management of the 90 North Group.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager to include:
- Day to day accounting including invoice preparation & processing, revenue reconciliation, accounts receivable/payable and credit card statement reconciliation.
- Financial management, planning and budgeting/forecasting for each property entity.
- Assistance in the preparation of quarterly investor and bank reporting requirements.
- Liaising with counterparties including tenants, universities, suppliers, Jersey administrators etc., to ensure revenues are received in timely fashion, costs are kept firmly under control and all statutory compliance is met.
- Liaising with service providers, including property managers, lawyers, tax advisers, accountants and administrators to contribute to the smooth running of the asset management function.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly management reports and board pack for management of 90 North.
Background
Assistant Finance Manager candidates should have:
- AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part qualified.
- Ideally experience working in property.
- Excellent financial competence, including data manipulation, analysis and ability to use Excel to an intermediate/advanced level.
- Solid understanding of accounts preparation to TB.
- Ideally experience of using Xero and Expensify systems.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident and positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task.
