Financial Performance Manager

Lincolnshire Housing Partnership was formed in April 2018 as a result of the merger of Boston Mayflower (Formed in 1999 to receive the transfer of 4,800 homes from Boston Borough Council) and Shoreline Housing Partnership (formed in 2005, to receive the housing stock transfer of 7,900 homes from North East Lincolnshire Council). With around 12,700 homes, over 26,000 customers and 350 employees, the merged organisation has a turnover of £52m per annum and is a partner of choice and an influencer of policy within Lincolnshire contributing to the regional economy

In this role you will be responsible for an efficient, effective and reliable reporting service to LHP - its Board, executive team, heads of department and accountable managers, as well as providing information to the regulator. You will work closely with the Finance Planning and Treasury Manager,  providing robust management accounts, forecasting and management accounting services to the organisation, liaising with a variety of finance and non – finance personnel. You will manage and be supported by a team of 2 business partners and 2 accountants who you will mentor and motivate. You will work on your initiative and develop the reporting systems and procedures in this new and exciting organisation.  

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with a good strong background in management and commercial accounting. You will be an individual with strong communication and presentation skills able to liaise with a variety of personnel in and outside of finance. You will enjoy influencing the business, challenging the norm and truly understand the ethos of the housing association, delivering and understanding  complex issues in order for the right strategic decisions to be delivered.
