Key Responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst:

  • Deliver monthly revenue recognition and fee analysis
  • Support the preparation and continuous improvement of the monthly management reporting and analysis packs
  • Roll forward of monthly reforecasting models and support the annual budgeting process.
  • Work with key stakeholders in the business to ensure they receive key reports and analysis in a timely and accurate way.
  • Carry out some month end close process, including posting journals, for Accruals, Prepayments, Accrued Income and Deferred Income
  • Support finance team where required with reconciliations, cross checks and analysis including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the Head of FP&A in the rollout of new accounting and project management system (Netsuite)

About you

  • Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA (Part Qualified finalists considered)
  • Proven can-do attitude with an ability to work calmly and accurately to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, confident, tenacious and a positive team player
  • Proven experience as a Finance Analyst.
  • Working technical knowledge of reporting standards and management accounting techniques, with a focus on trading balance sheet accounts (Accruals, Prepayments, Accrued Income, Deferred Income) and Profit & Loss reporting/analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
