Senior Technical Accountant - Insurance
London
Up to £70,00
This leading Lloyd's Insurer is looking to appoint a Senior Technical Accountant to join their expanding finance function in the City of London. Directly reporting to the Head Of Technical Accounting the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the inner workings of an insurance business and be comfortable presenting financial results to senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improving processes and controls
- Manage the production of quarterly Group currency balance sheets
- Prepare the quarterly group consolidation and the Group's quarterly financial reporting
- Liaising with senior stakeholders on accounting matters
- Oversight of monthly reporting processes
- Leading Solvency II and IFRS 17 projects
key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous experience working within the insurance industry
* Experience of working in a large organisation
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong financial accounting and controls experience
