Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Group Accountant for a leading manufacturing business in Rotherham.

The purpose of the role is to proactively work with subsidiaries to compile robust and timely consolidated management accounts to enable key business drivers to be reported to the board. You will also oversee the collation, verification and consolidation of Group forecasts and budgets in accordance with the Group timetable.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Review and update consolidation model on monthly basis to ensure accurate monthly information
- Review monthly consolidation journals to ensure accurate monthly reporting
- Produce monthly reports from consolidation model to a strict reporting deadline
- Produce, on a monthly basis, an intercompany balance matrix in order to ensure group inter-company balances are correct and reconcile within the consolidation model
- Work closely with site accountants, to ensure management accounts are completed and reported on a timely basis
- Have a good working knowledge of all sites monthend procedure to be able to stand in and cover as and when required
- Prepare necessary information for group VAT Returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with annual reporting requirements for Group entities working closely with auditors
- Produce ad hoc reports from Consolidation model as required, analysis of results / trends etc
- Group reporting of Cashflow, liquidity and Capex
-Intercompany recharges
- Work with site accountant to develop and maintain analysis of costs for estimating & costing's systems
- Produce and submit monthly group Intrastat returns, Bank covenant calcs and other government returns
- Work closely with the Group Accountant & Treasurer on other adhoc reporting requirements
- Develop group forecasting model including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow and tax
- Develop and report on group KPI's inline with sector & parent group

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

*Ideally the successful candidate will have existing group reporting experience
*ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA qualified or part qualified
*ERP systems experience
*Advanced Excel skills
*Driving Licence
