My client a Multi-million pound turnover FMCG business is looking to hire a Sales and Purchase Ledger Manager on a permanent basis. Based in their offices in Chiswick this is a fantastic role managing a small team and reporting into the Group Finance Manager.

  • Owner of the Group's Purchase ordering system with Procurement
  • Manages the PO authority limits in line with the groups delegation of authority
  • Runs an efficient purchase ledger function op ensuring invoices are processed and paid on a timely basis.
  • Monitors old receipted POs where no invoice received and old POs not receipted and take appropriate actions where required.
  • Manages the group's Expenses system management
  • Ensures new suppliers are set up correctly and appropriate checks made.
  • Responsible for Group's invoicing both batch and manual ensuring sent on a timely basis
  • Ensure accounts receiveable queries are promptly resolved and payment collected from customers
  • Ensure credit notes and copy invoices are raised on a timely basis when requested and appropriately authorised.

  • Previous management of a Purchase & Sales Ledger and Banking & Cash function
  • Extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Good understanding of IT systems, Infor M3 preferably or another ERP system
  • Management of expenses system
  • Reporting and analysis experience
  • Attention to detail and taking ownership of the P&SL functions is essential
  • The right candidate will be expected to have extensive knowledge of the sales, purchase and bank ledger function and be able to demonstrate a history of producing continual improvement within these functions
  • Experience of managing transactional teams
  • An ability to communicate and work effectively at all levels, with proven stakeholder management experience;
