Accounts Senior

Large Independent Accountancy Practice is looking for a qualified or experienced Accounts Senior to join their friendly team based in Chester. This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Senior who is looking to join a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Chester. Role:

As an Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will focus on the demands of a varied portfolio of clients and will typically include the preparation of year end accounts, client bookkeeping and production of management accounts

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts preparation for sole trader, limited companies and partnerships
• VAT returns
• Dealing with clients both face to face and over the phone
• Periodic management accounts

Essential Skills:

• ACA, ACCA Qualified or qualified through experience
• At least 5 year's experience in a practice environment is essential
• Strong academic background
• Excellent communication skills

• Confident with clients
• Motivated and driven
• Have good level of organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to demonstrate they can work in a team but also off their own initiative
