Based in, Luton, Bedfordshire, our client is an established, growing company looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team.

This job would suit a qualified accountant (ACMA, ACA or ACCA) with a strong academic background and proven commercial experience gained in a fast moving business. The job will involve financial control over all labour scheduling as well as site labour budgets for all sites.

The company is a well-known business with sites worldwide and are renowned for great staff development and training and have established plans to grow over the coming years.

The successful individual will be a qualified accountant ACMA, ACA or ACCA) with strong understanding of financial planning and management techniques as well as a strong commercial acumen. It is essential the candidate has great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with financial and non-financial colleagues as the role supports 5 Regional directors as well as manages and develop a high performing analyst. Analytical skills are essential as is the ability to identify issues and provide assessments grounded in logic is vital.

Duties will include:

• Weekly tracking of planned labour cost vs target - insight and challenge to Operations Directors
• Region and site level weekly labour cost reporting
• Insight and challenge on underlying drivers of region and site level labour cost e. hours, pay rates
• Financial planning and reporting for key elements of HR - pay rates, bonus schemes, apprentice levy
• Input into Labour Transformation Projects
