A rapidly growing textiles company in Wakefield has a newly developed role for a Finance Manager. The company has created the position after yet another year of growth and expansion.

With this being a new role, the company are able to mould the full position around the skills and talents of the successful candidate. The role will also contain career progression opportunities for the successful candidate as the company will be growing its finance function considerably over the next two years.

The successful applicant's main responsibilities will include;
*To ensure the site function operation meets the customer service requirements by completing each function to the highest standard.
*Managing and identifying both company and client strategic and operational procedures and their financial impacts.
*Managing and producing weekly financial and statistical information for the client as well as period reporting for both the business and the Client.
*Preparation of customer budgets and forecasts as well as participating in budgetary and forecast planning meetings with the Client.
*You will need to be proactive in seeking out initiatives that ensure this important role and site is able to support the Customers business plan and is managed to its budgetary goals.
*Analysis of operational as well as financial data in order to explain trends and justify expenditure levels.
*Overseeing the collation of daily operational and administrative data to ensure accuracy.
*Managing the functions of Time & Attendance and Monthly Payroll submissions to ensure control and accurate payroll runs.
*Ensuring the site is compliant with audit and regulation requirements of both the Customer and the business.
*Responsibility for Balance Sheet Controls and reconciliation.
*Producing ad-hoc reports, costings and expenditure trend analysis as required.
*Playing a leading role in generating site efficiency savings as part of the management team.
*Being an integral part of the site management team and assisting the Distribution Centre Manager and Commercial Manager as required.
*Managing and supporting the finance team company.

Ideally you will be either CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified, however those who are part qualified or qualified through experience will also be considered for this Finance Manager role.
