Credit Controller

Your New Employer:

Situated in Preston, this highly successful organisation are now seeking Credit Controller to join their already established friendly and dynamic finance team. This role provides support across several departments in the collection of aged debts to assist them in achieving their monthly cash collection targets.

Your New Job:

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for the collection of cash from customers within their agreed payment terms, accurately process pricing adjustments, payments, credit notes and journals. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright individual to utilise their proven debt collection skills to take on direct responsibility for their own accounts.

Your role as the Credit Controller will also require you to take ownership of the root cause of invoice queries by supporting and engaging with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions. You shall reconcile customer statements to ensure accounts accurately reflect monies owed by our customers; whilst embracing new initiatives and positively supporting the department with change and innovation. You shall progress all invoice queries with internal and external customers via email/workflow/phone and within set SLAs.

Your Experience & Our Requirements:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, articulate Credit Controller who thrives in a fast paced environment, is a strong relationship builder and an excellent team player with the ability to think on your feet. You will need to demonstrate sound knowledge of Excel and Word and the ability to quickly adapt to a range of diverse accounting systems. You will have a proven track record of collecting outstanding debt, working towards targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Your Future As The Successful Candidate:

You’ll receive a competitive salary of up to £24,000 per annum. In addition to a market leading benefits package including generous holiday entitlement and free parking.
