My client is a large Financial Services group, looking to attract the services of a ACA qualified candidate, looking to make a first or second move from the Big 4.
This technical accounting role centres on the implementation of new accounting standards, with a large proportion of the work determining the accounting for significant one-off transactions such as business combinations/M&A and legal entity reorganisations. The department provides pragmatic and robust accounting advice to senior management and also delivers technical accounting training and works closely with the reporting and consolidation teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting and writing skills as a baseline, but will couple this with pragmatism, communication, project management and leadership skills.
Applications are sought for Big 4 qualified candidates, with proven technical knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
