Credit Controller - Commercial Real Estate - OUR CLIENT is a large pan-European real estate investment and asset management company with a substantial portfolio of commercial properties. They are seeking to recruit an additional Credit Controller in order to solidify their UK Property Team given their continued success.

 

THE ROLE will assume responsibility for a portfolio and the process from entering property / unit and tenant data through demanding rent and service charge to arrears chasing , control, reporting and reconciliation - The core responsibilities will include: -

 

  • Producing rent, service charge and insurance demands on a quarterly and monthly basis.
  • Processing of tenant receipts including the posting of payments and reconciliation of tenant accounts.
  • Ensuring timely recovery of rent, service charge and other debts.
  • Carrying out pre-calling of tenants prior to payment days.
  • Producing service charge budgets and reconciliations.
  • Producing completion statements for lettings and acquisitions.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the property accounting system and such other accounting systems.
  • Recharging of the costs of electricity usage.
  • Preparing Arrears Reports for management purposes.
  • Performing reconciliations of the Sales Ledger.
  • Performing Ad-hoc duties as directed by senior management.

 

THE PERSON:- To apply you MUST have prior experience working within the property sector, ideally within commercial real estate and will have an experience of demanding and chasing rent and service charges. You should also possess a proven track record of working to strict deadlines and be able to demonstrate high attention to detail. The chosen candidate will also be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and be able to demonstrate a high standard of customer service. Ideally the candidate will also have experience in using and maintaining property data and have used a property system e. TRAMPS or QUBE, Yardi or an equivalent.
