Interim Head of Business Planning

To manage and facilitate the delivery of business planning by leading the development of and business planning processes. To lead the execution of periodic business performance reviews against the goals and objectives and provide associated reports and insights to the strategy and performance leadership team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the execution of periodic business performance reviews
• Leading and championing the implementation and engagement in the business planning process
• Directing the coordination of input from different streams to facilitate the integration of individual strategies
• Agreeing, managing and cascading performance against budgets, targets and objectives
• Leading and engaging a team of staff and/or volunteers to ensure they are committed, motivated and work effectively together to deliver the functional strategy and plans
• Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team by encouraging the generation of new ideas
• Operating within governance, risk, compliance and quality frameworks and facilitating and monitoring the team's adherence to all established policies and frameworks

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate experience of designing and delivering business planning systems
• Have experience of strategically influencing and negotiating at senior levels
• Demonstrate significant experience in driving improvement and delivering results against clear and measurable targets and standards
• Have experience of leading, managing, developing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating across a variety of stakeholders
• Have experience of change leadership and delivering programmes/projects across a diverse range of stakeholders
• Be available immediately or within a maximum of 8 weeks

Job Offer

Our client are offering a prompt start date in this senior leadership role. For the successful candidate there is the option to fulfil this role on either a daily rate or a salaried FTC (circa £60,000 - £70,000 pro rata). The role is expected to last for a minimum of three months.
