Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working on an exclusive basis with a well established Business in Sheffield. They have had a recent internal promotion and as a result are looking to recruit a Finance Manager. This will be an extremely varied role and you will be responsible for running the entire finance function, reporting into the General Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
*To ensure effective operation of the Finance function and manage / develop the Finance team
*To ensure compliance with financial policies, processes and procedures including internal controls and create / update as necessary and in line with IFRS
*To liaise with company accountant and auditors as required
*To provide financial support to commercial team and senior management to improve overall profitability
*Prepare monthly reports as necessary in line with deadlines
*Analysis of general expenses, identify variances and opportunities to make improvements, drive efficiencies and reduce costs across the business
*Treasury management including reconciliations, reporting and forecasting
*Involvement in the company's budget process as necessary
*Management of accruals / prepayments
*Management of bank authorisations
*Management of company vehicle policy and authorise new vehicles in line with guidelines
*To ensure stocks are ordered in accordance with forecast / customer requirements
*To ensure credit control procedure is adhered to ensuring achievement of agreed KPI
To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:
- CIMA, ACCA OR ACA qualified
- 5 years+ experience within management accounts
- Highly organised and pro-active
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Excel Skills
