Head of Financial Reporting

Exciting opportunity to work for a fast growing Cambridge based Bio-tech operating within a global capacity. This individual will be the number 2 to the CFO and ideally the potential successor in the future.

Client Details

This Cambridge based Bio-tech was founded in the local area and has more than doubled in size in the last 2 years. A successful acquisition and listing have this client poised to more than double in size again over the next 5 years.

Description

As the Head of Financial Reporting within the Cambridge office you will be:

- The most senior point of contact in finance on a day to day basis

- Manage a high quality team which includes financial reporting/tax/systems

- Provide world class financial reporting both internally and externally

- Create and follow through a programme to enhance their level of financial control and processes

- Sit as a senior member of the Audit committee

- Deputise on behalf of the CFO as and when is required

Profile

The successful individual for this Head of Financial Reporting role will ideally have had:

- Experience of having worked in a listed environment

- Experience of working either in a fast growing and developing business or one which has gone through numerous acquisitions and change

- Be able to work autonomously. This individual will be given a lot of freedom to shape the department

- A successful leader than can inspire and motivate a high quality team

- Qualified
