Interim Head of Financial Reporting

Frazer John Recruitment, Finance Practice is currently supporting a large group based in Manchester in their search for an Interim Reporting Manager for a period of six months. 

As Interim Reporting Manager you will be responsible for

• Complex group consolidations
• Maintaining and improving group-wide financial control frameworks
• Setting group accounting policies, reporting timetables and control standards
• Mitigating balance sheet risk 
• Manage a small team of six, high performing, qualified financial accountants
• Year end and interim statutory reporting  including statutory accounts production for all subsidiary businesses
• Reporting under IFRS
• Monitoring progress against strategy and performance measures to implement continuous improvement across the business

This role is suited to a highly technical, fully qualified accountant (ACA with practice background, ideally Big 4 or Top 10, or ACCA) who has demonstrable experience within a similar post. 

Candidates with experience of operating in high profile and FTSE listed organisations have a distinct advantage due to the nature and complexity of the reporting associated with this position. 

This is a six month contract that will interview and start as soon as possible.
