Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant

Bookkeeper - Assistant Accountant (12 Months Contract) / Trafford Park / £25,000 - £27,000 (Pro-Rata) + Benefits + Parking / Great Opportunity!! / Part Time Hours!!!

NC Associates are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper - Assistant Accountant to cover maternity on a 12 months contract. As a Bookkeeper - Assistant Accountant you will be working in a stand-alone position and reporting directly into the Director of the business. This is a great opportunity to work for a reputable SME organisation which offers excellent working conditions. As a Bookkeeper - Assistant Accountant you will be tasked with the following duties

Duties

• Report to Group Financial Director and Directors of MB Vacant Property Solutions Ltd.
• Prepare quarterly tax returns
• Assist in year-end audit pack for Auditors
• Prepare accounts for companies
• Setting up of companies with companies house
• Monthly commission reconciliation for directors
• Monthly commission reconciliation for agents
• Maintain purchase ledger and supplier statement reconciliation
• Manage credit control and maintenance of sales ledger
• Cheque raising and bank reconciliations
• Ensure all work has appropriate authorisation
• Monthly minimal payroll
• Organising service provisions for clients
• Liaising with clients
• Assisting in general administration

Essential Experience Required

• AAT, CIMA, Part Qualified - QBE
• Experience of using Sage 50 Desirable
• Experience of month end duties including management accounts
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to work on your own and with minimal supervision
